We've listed a few attractions that'll keep the full family smiling:

NATIONAL SEA LIFE CENTRE

Journey through the amazing glass tunnel and explore the mesmerising ocean world with Birmingham's Sea Life Aquarium.

Treat the kids to a great day as they get the chance to get up close to colourful, coastal creatures and deep-sea dwellers. Watch their faces light up as the spend the day with the stars from Finding Nemo and make new friends with the crafty crabs, spectacular seahorses, graceful giant sea turtles and the scary sharks.

While travelling through the impressive aquarium, there is plenty of interaction along the way. Children will enjoy collecting all the stamps for their sea-life passport, watching diving displays and getting up close with the amazing array of creatures in the Touchpool discovery zone.

Make sure to catch the shark and stingray feeding displays which are amazing and there is even an incredible octopus to spot too!

Handy tips would be to bring a camera that operates well in dimly lit conditions. To see the animals in the best possible way, the aquarium has quite soft lighting. Another tip would be save money on tickets by booking on-line via Sea Life Birmingham's website.

As well as being a leading marine conservation centre, Sea Life Birmingham is a breath-taking day out.
